The Real Talk Contractor Series
Real Talk has become a cornerstone of DFO313's community programming. With 600 participants to date, the series provides valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and accessing critical information. It's part of DFO's Phase 1: Community programming, which includes industry roundtables, contractor and expert panels, and trusted peer-to-peer experiences.[1]
The outcomes speak for themselves. Sixty-two percent of participants reported gaining access to resources and technical support. Fifty-seven percent accessed more construction opportunities. And fifty-two percent left with a better understanding of how to access financial capital.[1] Real Talk isn't just conversation. It's a pathway to building capacity, widening access, and creating sustainable opportunity for underserved builders.
